CULVER CITY, Calif. - Coker University wrestler Ramon Correa remains ranked No. 7 in the nation at 285 pounds by The Open Mat, announced by the organization today (Wednesday, Nov. 13).
Correa remains at No. 7, where he was originally slated in The Open Mat's preseason rankings back in October. Correa has also been recognized nationally in the National Wrestling Coaches' Association (NWCA) poll, where he was ranked No. 10 at 285.
On the season, the redshirt junior from West Olive, Mich. is 1-0 with a win by fall over Caleb Calhoun of Averett.
Coker is back on the mat Friday night (Nov. 15) when they travel to St. Andrews for a non-conference dual match. Video will be available at www.cokercobras.com.
