AUSTIN, Texas - Three Coker University wrestlers were tabbed in FloWrestling's latest Division II national rankings, released back on Nov. 6.
Senior Chris Poland enters the 133-pound weight class at No. 17, while junior Jhavon Innocent comes in at No. 12 at 174 pounds. Redshirt junior Ramon Correa is slated at No. 8 at 285 pounds.
All three wrestlers posted wins in Coker's 30-11 victory over Averett back on Sunday (Nov. 3), with Poland and Innocent winning by decision and Correa posting a win by fall.
Correa is also ranked nationally in both The Open Mat's poll (No. 7) and the National Wrestling Coaches' Association (NWCA) (No. 10) poll, while all three are ranked regionally.
Coker is back in action on Sunday (Nov. 10) at the Pembroke Open. The action is slated for a 9:00 a.m. start, with live results available at www.cokercobras.com.
