HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Coker College wrestler Ramon Correa has been named the SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Month for February. 

The redshirt junior out of West Olive, Michigan became just the fourth wrestler in Coker history to advance to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships after taking third-place at the super regional hosted in Hartsville, South Carolina. Correa made quick work of his opening matchup in the super regional with an early fall and fought back through the consolation to secure the last ticket to Cleveland, Ohio. The NCAA Championships are set to begin on Friday (Mar. 8) as Correa begins his quest for a national title.
