FAYETTE, IOWA - Coker wrestling's Luis Peguero is ranked tenth nationally in the 197 weight class as of Dec. 28, according to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association. This is the second ranking released of the season.

Peguero had a successful month of December, finishing with a record of 10-2. His lone loss at the Newberry duals came against the No. 9 ranked wrestler from No. 1 St. Cloud State. Peguero wrapped up the fall season as the third place finisher in the 197 pound bracket at the Midwest Classic hosted by the University of Indianapolis.

On the season, Peguero has 16 wins, including four falls, one major decision, and 10 decisions. In his Cobra career, he is tied for second all-time with 56 wins, by way of 12 pins, two technical falls, seven major decisions, and 29 decisions.
