HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker wrestling was voted eighth in the latest Super Region Two poll released by d2wrestle.com. Wisconsin-Parkside, Lake Erie, Tiffin, Findlay, Indianapolis, Ashland and Newberry are also in the top 10 in the poll.

Charlie Huff ranked fifth at 125, while Derrick Nelson is ranked second at 133 pounds. Jordon Tague holds the third spot at 149 pounds, while Shabo Gorial cracked the top six at 157, coming in at sixth. Derrick Booth is ranked sixth at 174, and Luis Peguero rounds it out for Coker, holding the sixth ranking at 184. 

The Cobras last action came on Jan. 8 when they held the Coker Duals. The team went 4-0 in its competition and did not surrender double digit points to any opponent. Coker defeated Spartanburg Methodist 49-3, Southeastern 39-7, Shorter 37-9 and Greensboro by a score of 46-3.

The Cobras hit the mat again on next Wednesday (Jan. 20) when they travel to Limestone for an ECAC showdown. The action begins at 7:00 p.m.
