Other College: Laxton transfered to Coker from Newberry College.

High School: Laxton was a standout wrestler at Suwannee High School where he compiled a record of 151-7. He was a four-time Florida state medalist, a two-time state champion and he won the Russ Mauger Mental Attitude Award.

Personal: Son of Sandy and David Laxton...he has two siblings, Brittany and Lee.
