Coker Women's Lacrosse Falls in Season Opener to Keiser

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker University women's Lacrosse team lost 17-7 against Keiser in non-conference action on Friday (Feb. 14).  

Keiser gave out the first goal of the game in the first three minutes of play with a goal by Jade Dougherty, but Coker answered with their first goal of the game by Meagan Gallagher.

The Cobras would go onto score six more goals in the second half while holding a strong defensive front.  Megan Gallagher lead the way for the Cobras with three goals and one assist on the game. On the defensive end Olivia Fladung and Abby Kellener had 9 saves a piece. 

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 26) when they host Embry-Riddle (FL) for another non-conference matchup at 3:00 PM. Live stats and video will be available at www.cokercobras.com
