Faith Kent Wins Third SAC AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Award

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker College women's lacrosse player, Faith Kent has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday (Mar. 4). This is Kent's third Offensive Player of the Week award of the season.

Kent, a communication major from Winter Springs, Fla., tallied seven goals and dished out three assists in Coker's 21-4 victory over Chowan on Wednesday (Feb. 27). Her 10 points were tied for the fourth-most points in a single game in school history.

Kent is now just 14 goals behind Haley McCusker for the school's career goals record. Additionally, she holds the school record for most assists in school history with 106 assists. She currently leads the South Atlantic Conference conference in goals (26), points (33), and caused turnovers (9).

Kent is the daughter of Phyllis Kent, and sister of Coker women's lacrosse head coach Chelsea Kent.
