HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's lacrosse midfielder Claudia Jenkins was named South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Jenkins posted a seven point performance, including six goals and an assist in Coker's 23-10 win at Lincoln Memorial on April 23. The midfielder also scooped up four ground balls, caused a turnover and had two draw controls.  The honor is her first Offensive Player of the Week selection this season.

Jenkins finished the season with 43 points, scoring 33 goals and dishing out 10 assists. She picked up 51 ground balls, won 43 draw controls and caused 30 turnovers. 

The Keedysville, Md. native is the daughter of Kimberly Thrasher and Joseph Melody and a biology major.
