Women's Lacrosse Hosts Queens for Senior Day

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's lacrosse will wrap up its regular season when they host Queens on Saturday (April 16).

The team will honor seniors Erica Snyder, Cierra Davis and Ashlyn Burgett prior to the game.

The Cobras last game came when they defeated Chowan on the road on Wednesday (April 13) 16-9. Baker tallied four goals and two assists on the afternoon, whileJenkins and Kent each tallied hat tricks, Kent also dished out three assists. Durden and McCusker each found the back of the net twice, and Cierra Davis and Karah Huntsinger each scored once. Cassie Dodge (7-6) made 11 saves in the win. 

On the season, the Cobras are led offensively by freshman Faith Kent. Kent is fourth in the conference with 41 goals on the year. Lindsay Ordemann leads the conference in ground balls with 51, that is also good for seventh in the nation.

The Royals come into the matchup 12-2 overall and 6-0 in the conference. Hanna Scott leads Queens offensively with 30 goals and 29 assists for a total of 59 points, good for fourth in the conference. 

Opening draw is set for 6:00 p.m. at the Coker College athletic field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
