Cobras Down Truett-McConnell in Non-conference Action

CLEVELAND, GA.- Coker women's lacrosse took down Truett-McConnell on Monday (Mar. 7) in non-conference action 16-3.

Faith Kent led the Coker charge recording four goals in the contest. The freshman also notched four ground balls and caused three turnovers. Haley McCusker also notched a hat trick in the contest, while Marabeth Durden scored twice, collected one ground ball, caused three turnovers and won four draw controls. Claudia Jenkins tallied one goal, three draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Cierra Davis, Ashlyn Burgett and Bailey O'Brien also scored one apiece in the win.

The Cobras are back in action on Thursday (Mar. 10) when they host Lees-McRae. Opening draw is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Coker College athletic field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
