HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College lacrosse players Hayley Ferone and Marabeth Durden have been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, the league office announced today. Ferone and Durden are the first-ever weekly award winners in Coker women's lacrosse history and the second Coker duo to sweep the POTW honors in any sport since the school joined the conference in 2013.

Ferone led Coker to a 19-11 win over Wingate in its SAC opener by recording four goals and a match-high four assists. She also picked up four ground balls and finished with an efficient 66.7-shooting percentage in the contest.
