"I was really proud of the ladies today for battling not only cold, windy conditions but exceedingly fast greens at South Hampton. Katie had a nice round of 81 even without making a birdie and the other ladies hung tough despite struggling on the greens just like everyone else in the field," said John Hackney. "Katie, Jenna and Hailey are all playing very solid in the 2nd round with just a few holes left so hopefully we can maintain our position in the middle of the field. It is really nice to see our ladies beating lots of teams. It just shows that their hard work in practice and dedication is paying off."
