ST. SIMMONS ISLAND, Ga. - The Coker University women's golf team started day one of their first tournament of the spring season on Monday (Feb 15.) at the 2021 Coastal Georgia Winter Women's Invitational at the Sea Palms Golf Course. 

After one round of play, Katie Smith is tied for 14th individually, shooting an 80 (+9). Smith had seven pars on her round and birdied the second and fourth holes. Maggie Jennings-Campbell is tied for 22nd after shooting an 82 (+11), after making par 11 out of 18 holes. Jordan White is tied for 25th after shooting 83 (+12). Lauren Shaw and Mackenzie Mulkiewicz both finished at 96 (+25) on the day. 

Coker currently sits at seventh as a team in the tournament. 

Coker begins round two of the 2021 Coastal Georgia Winter Women's Invitational on Tuesday (Feb. 16). The Cobras are set to tee off at 8:00 a.m., with live results available at www.cokercobras.com.
