HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College women's golf team will travel to Ocean Isle, N.C. to participate in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate tournament held at the Panther's Run Golf Course Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 2-3). Fans can find results of the action by visiting www.cokercobras.com.
Having recently competed in the Battle at Old South (Sept. 23-24) and finishing 11th, the Cobras slide south to take on a new challenge at the Panther's Run Golf Course.
Angela Luna gave Coker the edge with rounds of 75 and 78 for a 36-hole total of 153 for the tournament. Kelli Smith, Ana Orlov, Taylor Mayers, and Amber Winburn will all be close by to support the Navy and Gold push for a second championship on the year.
The Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate is a two-day tournament held on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 2-3) at the Panther's Run Golf Course in Ocean Isle, N.C.
