Cobras Tied for Fifth After Day One of Converse Spring Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Coker College women's golf team is in fifth place after day one of the Converse Spring Invite. The Cobras shot a team score of 321 and are six strokes out of the top spot.

Bella Harris led the way for the Navy and Gold, firing an opening round score of 76. Harris is in tie for fifth on the individual leaderboard. Kelli Smith is in a tie for tenth after a first round score of 78. Angela Luna signed off on a round of 82, while Taylor Mayers carded a round of 85. Ana Orlov rounded things out for the Cobras, shooting a round of 88.

King University sits atop the team leaderboard. The Tornado fired a first round team score of 315. Marley Felthousen of Converse is the individual leader after day one. She carded a round of 73.

Second round tee times will begin Tuesday (Feb. 21) morning at Carolina Country Club.
