Cobras in Sixth After Day One of SAC Championship Tournament

MONROE, N.C. – The Coker College women's golf team is in sixth place after the opening 18 holes of the South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship Tournament. The Cobras fired an opening round score of 330. 

Angela Luna led the way with a round of 78 on her opening 18 holes. She is in a tie for 10th place individually. Bella Harris fired a round of 80 and is in a tie for 16th place. Ana Orlov signed off on a round of 85, while Taylor Gaskins and Margaret Mills each shot 87 in Sunday's opening round.

Lincoln Memorial University and Carson-Newman University are tied atop the team leaderboard. Each team shot a score of 312 to open the tournament up. Taylor Hayes of Carson-Newman fired an even-par round of 72 on day one and she sits atop the individual leaderboard.

The Cobras will begin round two at 10 a.m. Mills will tee off at 10, Gaskins will tee off at 10:09 a.m., Orlov will tee off at 10:18 a.m., Harris will begin at 10:27 a.m. and Luna will tee off at 10:36 a.m. All tee times will go off hole number one at the Monroe Country Club.
