Cobras in Eleventh After Day One of Armstrong Pirate Women’s Invite

SAVANNAH, GA. The Coker College women's golf team fired rounds of 332 and 342 on day one of the Armstrong Pirate Women's Invitational. The 674 team total after 36 holes leaves the Cobras in 11th place.

Angela Luna is in a tie for 17th place individually after shooting rounds of 77 and 82 on day one. Bella Harris signed off on two rounds of 85, while Taylor Gaskins carded rounds of 84 and 87. Margaret Mills finished the opening day with rounds of 86 and 89. Ana Orlov rounded out the traveling five for the Navy and Gold; she shot rounds of 90 and 88.

Armstrong State is atop the team leaderboard. They shot rounds of 305 and 312. Franziska Bremm of West Georgia is the individual overnight leader after shooting rounds of 73 and 74.

The Cobras will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning (Mar. 1) for their final round. They will start on holes 10-12.
