SEVIERVILLE, TENN. – After day one of the 2014 Food Lion SAC Championship the Coker women's golf team is in second place with a team score of 330.

Leading the way for the women is Taylor Demby, who shot a first round total of 77.  Her score was good enough to tie her for first place on the individual leader board.  Coming in next for the Coker women was Krista Thorpe and Amber Harman with scores of 82 and 84, respectively.  Rounding out the field of five was Mallory Thompkins and Tensley Clowser with scores of 87 and 88. 

Round two of the 54-hole tournament will take place on Monday (Apr. 14), followed by the final round on Tuesday (Apr. 15).
