Thompkins Hits Hole-in-One As Cobras Finish 12th in Pirate Invitational

POOLER, GA. – Mallory Thompkins recorded a hole-in-one at the Pirate Invitational on Tuesday (Mar. 5) after connecting on a par-3, 170-yard number six hole.  Thompkins would go on lead the Cobras with a low round of 85, and a two round total of 172.

Krista Thorpe signed off on the second lowest round for Coker after shooting an 85 in day two, totaling her score at 174.  Taylor Demby and Sara Allen each shot 84 and 87, to finish with totals of 177 and 190.  Jessi McKenzie completed Coker's fifth spot after shooting a second round score of 106 to total 222 on the tournament.  

As a team Coker finished in 12th place, with a combined score of 713. 

Coker will next compete on March 18 when they travel to Pinehurst, North Carolina to compete in the Wingate Invitational.
