Women’s Basketball Falls Short on the Road

Harrogate, Tn. –  The Cobras took on LMU who is a top seed in the SAC conference. The team lead the first quarter (15-13).  Coker led up the lead in the second and went into the half trailing (32-18).

Hope Richardson lead the Cobras on the boards with seven rebounds. Valicia Demeritte lead the team in points as she recorded 12 points down the stretch.  Richardson followed with eight points. Kristynn Knight and Abigail Keesling both recorded a steal a piece as they help keep the game within reach. The women fought hard outrebounding LMU 41 to 31. The Cobras fought back and outscored LMU in the third quarter but, fell just short at the end (56-48).
