Cobras came up short at Anderson

Anderson, SC - The Coker University Women's Basketball team dropped their road game against Anderson by a score of 66-61.

Despite the unwanted outcome, threee Cobras were able to register double digit points for the night. Mya Wasswa had 12, Abigail Keesling had 11, and Valicia Demeritte had a team-high 16. Four other Cobras combined for the remaining 22 points. As a team, Coker shot 36.2 percent from the field, 40.9 percent from the three point line, and 71.4 percent from the free throw line.

Out of the 37 rebounds, Wasswa led Coker with 8, followed by Dasia Lambert (5), Kristynn Knight (4), and Abigail Keesling (3). The Cobras collected 11 assists throughout the game and seven steals. 

Brittney Stafford of the Trojans scored a game high of 17 points for the night.
