Cobras Fall to Bulldogs in Road Game Monday Afternoon.

Wingate, NC - The Coker University Women's Basketball Team dropped their first game of the new year at Wingate by a score of 74-51 on Monday afternoon (Jan. 2nd).

Abigail Keesling, a junior guard, led the Cobras with 11 points against the Bulldogs. Valicia Demeritte chipped in 10 points of her own. 

Coker pulled down 34 rebounds, Mya Wasswa collected seven to lead the team while Haley McClure collected six for the afternoon.  Coker had five steals and four blocks for the game.  The Cobras shot 85.7 percent from the free throw line.  

AJ Davis and Hannah Clark of the Bulldogs each scored 11 points for the Bulldogs.

Coker returns to the DeLoach Center on Saturday, January 7 against Anderson University.  Tip off is set for 2:00 pm.  Livestreaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
