Coker Takes down Warriors by Double Digits (Dec. 19th)

Central, SC - The Coker University Women's Basketball Team defeated Southern Wesleyan on Monday night (Dec. 19th) by a score of 68-47.

Dasia Lambert, sharp shooting 9-17, dropped a hefty 21 points to lead the Cobras in their victory against the Warriors. Valicia Demeritte tailed Lambert with 14 points of her own. Abigail Keesling, Kristynn Knight, and Haley McClure combined for a total of 18 points throughout the game. As a team, Coker shot 44.4 percent from the field, 26.7 percent from the three point line, and 72.7 percent from behind the foul line.

Leading the team with 10 rebounds, Demeritte was putting in work off the glass. Dasia Lambert and Haley McClure followed close behind with their combined 11 rebounds. Lambert also led the team with four steals. 

Brittany Mack led the Warriors with 13 points for the night.

The Cobras will return to the court on Monday (Jan. 2nd) against Wingate. Tip off is set for 2:00 PM. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
