Coker Women's Basketball Comes Up Short Against Fayetteville State.

Hartsville, S.C. - The Coker University women's basketball (3-1) team dropped their home opener to Fayetteville State by a score of 60-50.  Hope Richardson led the Cobras with 20 points and 7 rebounds.  

Coker outrebounded the Broncos 45-32 with 16 of those coming off the offensive boards.  The Cobras shot 80% from the free throw line on the night.  

Amiylah Bryant paced the Broncos with 15 points on 5 of 8 shooting from the floor.  

The Coker University Women's Basketball Team will return to the court on Wednesday (Nov. 23rd) against Coastal Carolina at 4:00 PM. Live stats and streaming will be availabe at www.cokercobras.com.  The Cobras will open up conference play on Wednesday (Nov. 30th) hosting UVA Wise.  Tip off is set for 5:30 pm.
