Women's Basketball Drops Conference Contest at Tusculum on Saturday

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Coker University women's basketball dropped its South Atlantic Conference contest at Tusulum on Saturday (Feb. 19) by a score of 64-49.

Saquita Joyner led the way with 20 points, while Ahlea Myers also contributed 16 points off the bench. Four other Cobras scored in the game. Joyner also finished one board shy of a double-double with a team-high nine rebounds, while Diamond Jackson also pulled down six rebounds in the game, while seven others were active on the glass for Coker. Abigail Keesling and Mariah Mitchem each dished out a team-high three assists in the game, while four others helped on Coker buckets in the game. Myers registered a team-high two steals in the game, while four others each had one steal in the game. Hope Richardson posted the lone block for the Cobras in the game.

The Cobras return home to the DeLoach Center on Monday (Feb. 21) to host Limestone in South Atlantic Conference action. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m., with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
