Women's Basketball Drops League Contest at Limestone

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Coker University women's basketball dropped its South Atlantic Conference contest at Limestone Wednesday night (Feb. 2) by a score of 67-51.

Hope Richardson and Saquita Joyner each scored a team-high 10 points in the game, while seven others scored in the contest. Richardson completed the double-double with 10 rebounds, while Joyner finished one shy of her own double-double effort with nine boards. Seven others were active on the glass for the Cobras in the game. Ahlea Myers dished out a team-high five assists in the game, while five others helped on Coker buckets in the game. Richardson, Dasia Lambert and Myers each registered one steal in the game, while Richardson and Abigail Keesling each posted one block in the game.

The Cobras return home to the DeLoach Center on Saturday (Feb. 5) to face Lincoln Memorial. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m., with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
