Crusaders Use Late Run to Sink Cobras

BELMONT, N.C. - The Coker College women's basketball team fell in the final game of the Conference Carolinas/SAC Challenge on Saturday (Nov. 10) to Belmont Abbey. The Cobras, who led by as much as 19 in the third quarter, lost by a final score of 72-64.

Hannah Stull had an excellent game, scoring a team-high 16 points and collecting six rebounds. Ashauntee Nelson was not far being with 14 points, while going 5-8 from the field. Shay Jackson and Aloni McFarland each notched nine points, while Elizabeth Kincaid recorded eight. Erin Houser scored five points and pulled down seven rebounds and Hope Richardson chipped in with three points.

The Cobras will return to the court on Monday (Nov. 12), when they travel to Erskine for a non-conference matchup with the Flying Fleet.
