Hash Joins Coker Women’s Basketball Staff

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Head Women's Basketball Coach Shannon Johnson has announced the addition of Michala Hash to the women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Hash heads to Coker after spending the last two years as a graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division I and Big South member, Gardner-Webb University. During her time at Gardner-Webb, Hash assisted with all areas of player liaison, administrative recruiting, alumni relations, fundraising, summer camps, scouting, and game preparation.

"I'm very excited to add Michala as our new assistant coach," said Johnson. "She knows our conference through her playing days at Tusculum and has gained valuable coaching experience from her coaching stint at Gardner-Webb. Her main responsibility will be coaching our guards and defense."

As mentioned, Hash is familiar with the South Atlantic Conference as she competed for Tusculum College from 2014-16. Additionally, Hash excelled in the classroom during her time at Tusculum, being named to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll, D2ADA Honor Roll, and Tusculum's Dean's List from 2014-16.
