SALISBURY, N.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team dropped a South Atlantic Conference matchup on the road on Wednesday (Jan. 14) to the Catawba Indians, 77-61.
The first half was a back and forth battle with neither team leading by more than six points at any time. Catawba would head into the locker room after the first half with a 33-31 lead.
The second half would be all Indians, as they outscored the Cobras 44-30.
The Navy and Yellow were led by Tanesha Stenson with had 19 points.
The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Jan. 17) as they host the Carson-Newman Eagles. Game time is set for 2 p.m. at Coker's DeLoach Center.
