HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker Cobras dropped their South Atlantic Conference women's basketball game to the Anderson Trojans on Saturday (Jan. 10), 65-54.

Hailey Yohn was the Cobras' leading scorer with 12 points, all of which came from three-point range, while Kiara Shoats poured in 10 points. Priscilla Fenty chipped in eight points and four rebounds, and Tanesha Stenson added six points and nine boards.

It was a tale of two halves for the Cobras. In the first half they were on fire, hitting 48 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from beyond the arc, taking a 34-25 lead into halftime. However, it was a different story in the second half. The Cobra shooters were unable to find the basket, as the Trojans out scored the Cobras 40-20, leading them to a 65-54 victory.

The Cobras will be back on the hardwood on Wednesday (Jan. 14) when they travel to Catawba College for a SAC match-up. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
