Coker's Stenson Named to All-SAC Second Team

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's basketball player Tanesha Stenson was named to the South Atlantic Conference all-conference team the league office announced today. Stenson was named to All-SAC second team.

Stenson, a junior guard, played and started in all 26 games this season for the Cobras. She averaged a team high 14.8 points a game which was good enough for tenth best in the conference. She pulled down 6.4 rebounds which was 12th best in the conference as well as dishing out three assist per game. She shot just over 40 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from three and just under 72 percent from the free throw line.  Stenson is the first women's basketball player to be named to a South Atlantic Conference all-conference team.

Stenson is an education major from Nashville, Tenn. She is the daughter of Thelma Manning.
