Cobras Set to Host Trojans and Knights

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's basketball team will have home court advantage for the first time this season, as they prepare to take on the Trojans of Mount Olive and the Knights of St. Andrews on Saturday (Dec. 15) and Sunday (Dec. 16).  Live coverage of the game can be found at www.cokercobras.com

Saturday's match up features a 6-0 Mount Olive team that averages 75.3 points per game including 81.5 points per game against conference opponents.  The Cobras will need an offensive surge and will look to be led by senior guard Amber Lau who is averaging 20 points per game.

During Sunday's non-conference match up the Cobras will host St. Andrews.  The Knights are 2-7 on the year, with a 1-5 record on the road.

Injuries have kept the Cobra bench short during the first six regular season games, but Coker was able to bounce back with a 4-2 start.

Both games are scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
