DUE WEST, S.C. - Even two players scoring double-doubles and a third player scoring in double figures was not enough to break the Coker Lady Cobras losing streak, as Coker dropped their ninth straight game of the season to Erskine College on Thursday night. Coker (2-15, 1-11 Conf. Carolinas) lost 74-63 to the Erskine (7-9, 6-6 Conf. Carolinas), the Lady Cobras second loss of the year to the Fleet.

In a tightly contested first half Coker trailed by just three points to begin the second half, but behind a game high 28 point night from Audrey Timmerman, the Flying Fleet took home the victory.

Kiesha Beavers (Williamstown, N.J.) had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Henna Koponen (Vantaa, Finland) also had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Lotta Aaltonen (Rauma, Finland) was the third Lady Cobra in double figures, scoring 17 points.

In addition to Timmerman's 28 points, Erskine was led by Portia Morgan's 17 points.

The Lady Cobras return to the court on Saturday, when they try to break their nine game skid against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders at 2:00 p.m. at Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
