Pembroke, NC – All nine Lady Braves scored in Tuesday night's women's basketball action in the Jones Center, as UNCP picked up its sixth straight victory in a 84-54 downing of Coker College. Lindsay Bartholf poured in a game-high 19 points, while Kristin Vaughan blistered the nets with 16 second half points. Pembroke improves to 7-2 on the season, while Coker falls to 3-4 overall.

Bartholf came out on fire from the tip, draining five of seven shots, including four treys, en route to 14 first half points. Sophomore Lauren Lingenfelter narrowly missed a double-double in the first 20 minutes with 11 points and eight boards.

As a team, the Lady Braves shot an impressive 58 percent from the floor and 57 percent from downtown. Coker drained 42 percent of its attempts, with Shamae Hemingway leading the way with nine points in the period.

The Lady Braves continued to dominate in the second half, with Vaughan quickly putting to rest any thoughts of a Cobra comeback. She knocked down seven of nine shots in the period, and Pembroke rode her back to forge its biggest lead at 31 points.

Junior point guard Tracey Lightfoot also put together a solid second half, finishing with six points and six assists. Lingenfelter completed her double-double with 11 points and 12 boards, while Danielle Richardson was the final Brave to notch double figures with 11 points.

The Lady Braves also received some timely bench production, with Victoria Willis, Tiffany Wright, Julia Ayers, and Melina Savage combining for 21 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Coker will try to regroup over the Christmas break now and will next face Coastal Carolina in Conway, SC on January 5, at 7:00 PM.
