The Cobras Put a Strong Invitational Together

Women:

In the 60-meter dash, Lasira Nicholson and Ayanna English finished 9th and 10th with times of 8.23 and 8.25. The Cobras smashed the 200-meter putting four runners in the top ten. Ayana English, Naizja Redding, Michaela Hayes, and Stephani Forrester rounded out 5,6,7, and 9th for Coker. The Cobras finished 2 and 3 in the 60-meter hurdles with Redding and Arianna Williams hitting times of 9.41 and 9.51.

 

Men:

Aaron Hughes started it off for the men grabbing a 5th-place finish in the open 60 with a time of 6.98. Jeremiah Harris stole the show as he was named the winner of the 200 with a time of 22.42. Coker placed two other runners in the top ten with Hughes coming in 5th and Jeffery Stiles grabbing 8th place. Gary Simpkins kept it close in the 400 as he placed second with a time of 50.76.
