WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -  The Coker University men's track team completed competition at the Mondo College Invitational meet on Saturday (Jan. 15). The Cobras performed well, placing highly in several events.

Junior Kristoffer Persen placed fifth in the seeded 200 meter dash with a time of 22.75. 

Senior Mahliqe Andrews finished fourth in the 600 meter event, posting a time of 1:25.00.

Arat Joanico and Austin Bates recorded times of 2:09.33 and 2:10.76. The times were good enough for 10th and 11th place respectively.

Sincere Beam finished 10th in the triple jump with a distance of 12.49 meters.

The Cobras will be back in action next Sunday (January 23) when they return to Winston-Salem to compete in the Flat is Fast Invitational with start time scheduled for 10 AM. Coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
