2016-17: Did not compete this season.

2015-16: In his freshman season, Mumford finished with ten top-10 showings. His best finish was a win in the 4 x 400-meter relay at the Wingate University Invitational (3/25). He also had two runner-up finished in the 4 x 400, one coming at the Winston Salem DII Invitational (1/24), the other at the South Atlantic Conference Championship meet (4/15-16).
