2016-17: Allen competed in four meets this season, running the 1500-meter and one mile run. 

High School: Allen attended West Florence High School where he ran cross country and track for the Knights. On the track, he was a Wendy's Senior Heisman Award winner, a team captain and a member of the first-place team at the Pee Dee Classic. Off the track, he was a Teacher Cadet, member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Buffy and James Blease... he has two siblings Winford Walker and Phillip Blease... he has had four family members graduate from Coker... Howard Wilkes (1974), James Shaw (1991), Jessica Shaw (2002) and Russ Shaw (2006).
