Coker Men Notch Seven Top Ten Finishes at JCSU Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Coker College men's track and field team scored seven top-ten finishes at the Johnson C. Smith University Invitational. 

Razzel Kiplaget and Brandon Mullins finished in seventh and eighth in the 800-meter run. Kiplaget ran a time of 1:57.25, while Mullins finished with a time of 1:57.68.

Derrian Moreau finished in seventh in the 110-meter hurdles, with a time of 15.93.

Three Cobras finished inside the top ten in the 400-meter hurdles. Naim Fareed and Anthony Clontz led the way with fourth and fifth place finishes. Fareed ran a time of 55.99, while Clontz ran a time of 57.72. Caleb Nesbitt's time of 58.80 was good enough for eighth place.

Luke Elliot finished in second in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:54.83.

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday and Saturday (Apr. 15-16) for the South Atlantic Conference Track and Field Championships in Hickory, N.C.
