Cobras Pick Up Three Top Ten Showings at Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. – The Coker College men's track and field team competed in the Wake Forest Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 16) in Winston Salem, N.C. 

Ryan Archibold got the Cobras on the board, posting a seventh place finish in the men's 600-meter with a time of 1:28.27. The team of Archibold, Jarrell Mumford, Malik Tarbell and Caleb Nesbitt also earned a seventh place showing in the men's 4 x 400-meter relay with a time of 3:39.99. Brandon Gambrell rounded out the top-10 finishes for the Navy and Gold, finishing sixth in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.47 meters.

Winston Salem will prove to be familiar territory by season's end for the Cobras, with their next three meets taking place there. They will be back in action on Sunday (Jan. 24) when they compete in the Winston Salem 6-way.
