Cobras Fall on The Road to Anderson

The Coker University Softball Team traveled to Anderson, SC, to battle the Anderson Trojans in South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday, April 13th.

Game 1

In game one of the doubleheader, Kelsi Scott would go 1 for 3 on the afternoon, with a single to the shortstop in the top of the fifth. Ariana Fair would tally a walk and a stolen base for the Cobras in the first game. Mya Cribbs also reach base for the Cobras in game one.

Game 2

In game two, Gracen Chambless would have an offensive explosion for the Cobras going 2 for 3 with 2 HRs & 5 RBIs for the Cobras in the second game. Mya Cribbs would also go 2 for 3 in the afternoon with a double. Kelsi Scott in the lead-off spot would go 3 for 4 in game two for the Cobras with two stolen bases to her credit. Kelsey Gollie & Cheyenne Palmer would also contribute hits on the afternoon for the Cobras.

In The Circle

In the circle, Palmer would come in relief and pitch 4.2 innings, tallying 3 strikeouts, and would not give up an earned run in her appearance.

Up Next For Coker

The Cobras will be on the road for the last time this season, as they will travel to Hardeeville, SC, to face USC Beaufort in their final non-conference matchup of the season.
