Coker Falls On The Road at Limestone

The Coker University Softball team traveled to Gaffney, S.C. as they faced SAC rival Limestone in Thursday afternoon action.

Game 1

In game one, Delaney Eaves would have a solid offensive performance going 2 for 3 on the afternoon for the Cobras. Kelsi Scott, Savanah Fowler, Cameron Jackson, & Mya Cribbs would also collect hits for the Cobras in game one of the doubleheader.

In The Circle

Tibby Hessian & Cheyenne Palmer both tallied a strikeout in the game.

Game 2

In game two, Savanah Fowler put together a solid performance on the afternoon going 3 for 3, driving in 2 RBIs on the afternoon, and stealing a base for the Cobras. Kelsi Scott reached base twice for the Cobras, going 1 for 2 with a walk, and collecting a stolen base on the afternoon. Julie Hilliard & Caroline Ingram, picked up hits for the Cobras in the second game.

Madie Andrews was able to strikeout four batters in the game for the Cobras.

Coker will return home to Saleeby-Stokes Field on Sunday, March 24th, as they will continue South Atlantic Conference play vs. Tusculum, with the first pitch scheduled for 12:00PM.
