ANDERSON, S.C.- The Coker University softball team fell to No. 20 Anderson University (SC) today by scores of 9-1 and 7-1. 

Game One

Anderson (SC) would jump out to a 4-0 lead early in the first inning.

Coker would keep the Trojans from adding onto their lead until the fifth inning when Anderson (SC) would add two more to bring the game score to 6-0.

Kayla Oswell would record the lone run for the Cobras from her solo moonshot over the left center wall. The Trojans would add three more runs to their total in the sixth, taking game one, 9-1.

Game Two

Anderson (SC) would jump out to a 2-0 lead by way of a 2 RBI homerun in the second. 

In the third, Ava Jay's RBI double to left center would score Cierra Watts to bring the Cobras within two of the nationally ranked Trojans. 

Anderson (SC) would use an offensive surge in the sixth inning to take game two from the Cobras 7-1.
