ROCK HILL, S.C. - Coker College freshman left-handed pitcher Jordyn Goodman has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Softball Pitcher of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday (Feb. 19). This marks Goodman's first player of the week honor in her career.

Goodman put on a stellar performance in a 14-0 win over Trinity Baptist on Saturday (Feb. 16), pitching a perfect game in the circle in just her second appearance for the Navy and Gold. She struck out four batters in the win while not allowing a single runner to reach base.

For the season Goodman has picked up a pair of wins in two starts, tossing nine innings and striking out nine in the victories.

Goodman is the daughter of Ken and Donna Goodman and the sister of fellow Coker softball player Hannah Goodman.
