ROCK HILL, S.C.- Coker softball's Maria Williamson earned SAC AstroTurf Softball Player of the Week honors for Feb. 12-18, as announced by the South Atlantic Conference Tuesday (Feb. 20). This is the first Player of the Week selection for Williamson.

The first baseman helped lead the Cobras to a perfect 6-0 record with wins over Augusta, Alderson Broaddus, and Mount Olive. She batted a sensational .550, including a double and three home runs. The junior finished with 12 RBI, scoring five runs, and slugged a 1.050 percentage.

On the season, the Laurens, S.C. native has 22 hits, 10 runs, three doubles, four home runs, 20 RBI, and two walks. Williamson is batting an astonishing .629 with an on-base percentage of .649, and slugging 1.057.
