Coker Softball Adds Six to 2015-16 Roster

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head softball coach Travis McCall announced today the addition of Rebekah Addison, Tori Crowley, Allyson High, Shayna Oakley, Makayla Shore and Nicole Wyatt to the 2015-16 roster.

"With the addition of the six players we've been able to increase our depth across the board and create some competition heading into fall practice," said McCall.

Addison is an outfielder from Rock Hill, S.C. where she attended Rock Hill High School. She won the Bearcat Pride award, the academic award, and batted .309 with a .980 fielding percentage.
 
Rebekah is the daughter of Babs and Chuck Addison. She plans on being a physical education major.
 
Crowley transferred to Coker from Spartanburg Methodist College. Originally from Hartsville, S.C., she was an all-region and all-state selection at McBee High School.
 
Tori is the daughter of Margaret and Danny Jowers. She plans on being a pre-law major.
 
High is an infielder from Marshville, N.C. where she attended Forest Hills High School. She was the team MVP from 2013-2015, an all-conference, all-district and all-state selection from 2012-2015, she posted a .525 high school batting average and was voted female athlete of the year in 2014-15.
 
Allyson is the daughter of Debbie and Doug High. She plans on majoring in exercise science.
 
Oakley is an outfielder from Stedman, N.C. where she attended Cape Fear High School. She was a second-team all-conference selection, an all-region selection and a member of the .400 club.
 
Shayna is the daughter of Cheryl and Shane Oakley. She plans on majoring in biology.
 
Shore is a catcher from Pfafftown, N.C. where she attended both Ursuline High School and Alexander Central High School. At Ursuline, she was a 2013 and 2014 first-team Northeast Ohio team selection, an Ohio first-team all-state selection and a 4A all-district team member. At Alexander Central, she posted a .403 batting average and an on-base percentage of .500.
 
Makayla is the daughter of Robyn and Randy Shore. She plans on majoring in biology.
 
Wyatt is a pitcher from Tar Heel, N.C. where she attended West Bladen High School. She was the 2014 2A all-state pitcher of the year and was named the district four pitcher of the year in 2014 and 2015. She was also the Four County conference player of the year in 2014.
 
Nicole is the daughter of Tonna and Roby Wyatt. She plans on majoring in biology with a concentration in pre-medicine.
 
"We have been able to add some quality players who will be great representatives of our program both on the field and in the classroom," said McCall.
