Cobras Fall to Trojans in SAC Doubleheader

ANDERSON, S.C. – The Coker College softball team dropped a pair of South Atlantic Conference road games to the Anderson University Trojans on Saturday (Apr. 18). The Trojans won game one 10-0, then turned around to take game two by a score of 13-0.

Katelyn Szupello, Riley Morris and Corrine Stiles led the Coker offense picking up a hit apiece.

Tabitha Allen was hit with the loss in game one. She gave up 10 runs on eight hits in four innings of work. Carley Bailey was tagged with the loss in game two. She five runs on two hits in an inning and two-thirds.

The Cobras will have a quick turnaround as they take on the Brevard College Tornados on Sunday (Apr. 19) in a SAC doubleheader. Game one is set for a 2 p.m. start at Saleeby-Stokes softball field. The game will be senior day for the three seniors on the Coker softball roster.
