HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker softball team will host Limestone College on Saturday (Mar. 16), in a Conference Carolinas double-header.  

The Cobras are coming off a two game sweep of Belmont Abbey in their latest competition.  Coker is currently third in the league with a conference record of 8-2.

Senior's Sarah Rountree and Jaclin Poole are the leaders at the plate for the Cobras with team high batting averages of .315 and .309.  The two have combined for 11-RBIs and 18-runs scored. 

Breanna Skipper and Lauren Phillips will be pitching for the Cobras. Skipper and Phillips have the lowest and third lowest ERA's in the conference with 1.23 and 1.50.

Limestone is entering the game with a overall record of 6-10, and a league record of 2-0.  Leading the Saints at the plate is Dallas Heaton with a .342 batting average.

The double-header action is set to start at 1:00 p.m., followed by the second game at 3:00 p.m.
