Florence, SC- The Cobra Softball Team dropped both their games at the FMU Invitational on Saturday. Coker lost their first game 3-0 to Armstrong Atlantic, before dropping their second game to Catawba College 5-4. After the day Coker is now 16-5 on the season.

 

In game one versus Armstrong Atlantic, Somer Bigham took the loss going all seven innings allowing three runs on seven hits with three strike outs.

 

Miranda Klees, Allie Bragg and Ashton Williams each had a hit in the game for the Cobras.

 

In the second game against Catawba College, Shelley Catlett took the loss, allowing five runs on five hits with six strike outs.

 

The leading hitters for Coker were Allie Bragg, 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, Katie McCauley 2-for-4, and Eunice Nettles and Anna Lucas, both 1-for-4 with a home run and an RBI.

 

Coker will complete the FMU Invitational on Sunday, when they take on Bluefield College at 11:00 a.m., followed by Mansfield College at 1:00 p.m. Both games will be played at Freedom Florence.
